Default What do you use to download music?

I'm really stuck on what people use to download music and what program i should use. I refuse to use limewire for my computer's sake, so what else is even available to use to download music (that is free)?

I know that probably doesn't sound right haha but oh well, just post what you use and how well it works and such, i'd appreciate any help with this ^^

limewire suits my needs and to this day remains free of spyware. although I would prefer a program not based on java.

SoulSeek. www.slsk.com

It has the best range of music I've found. I can usually get rare things that not even itunes sell, and that torrents don't seed anymore. I have never EVER downloaded any spyware etc through it either, so it definitely passes my test. Anywhere I managed to find oldskool Lo-Fidelity Allstars is ok by me.

Artist's barely get money from CD's anyways.
so screw that, I'm not paying for Mr.RIAA's daughter's ballerina recital.

I'll go to a concert instead if I don't want to be cheap.

Limewire, but most music I have isn't copyrighted. Like the stuff from www.djdoboy.com ( Too bad he removed most of his music from the website though )

BitTorrent.

I can't stand CD music protection (aka inconveniencing the end user), and BitTorrent is the top torrent downloading program.

As far as sites... isohunt, mininova, etc.

I also get some songs directly from the game folders/archives/etc.

I download most of my music from the Itunes Store, reliable and has a good collection - though it is still missing quite a bit.

Limewire for music, then torrentreactor, piratesbay or isohunt for movies. YES I SAID THAT! I'm double evil. When I'm surfing the net though I use www.pandora.com for my music.

qft, although I'm trying to get away from dl'ing music; maybe i'll start buying cd's again, maybe i'll start recording off the radio w/ my mp3 player

my mp3 player actually has a pretty good microphone, so sometimes I set it on my bed w/ headphones right next to the mic in (playing music off youtube), and put a pillow on top of it to keep ambient sound out. it works pretty well, although there is obviously a loss in sound quality
